iOS 27 is compatible with iPhones from the 11 model onwards. Apple even states that some performance metrics are based on tests conducted on the iPhone 11. For example, it says that apps launch up to 30% faster – this number comes from comparing iPhone 11 Pro Max with iOS 26.4.2 and iOS 27. Everything is very impressive, especially for users of older models. Apple has fixed enough bugs and made such a leap in performance that most users will notice a big improvement after installing iOS 27 this fall. It is especially impressive given that Apple has completely redesigned Siri at the same time.
iOS 27 is now available for developers and public beta testers. The public will be able to download it this fall.
